Day one Tbilisi, Georgia

eTwinning is a wonderful online learning experience for students but also gives teachers an opportunity to attend CPD and gain further insight into the resources available to everyone in the learning community.

I was invited to present my workshop on ICT tools in the classroom at the eTwinning Georgia conference after attending a Professional Development Workshop in Bristol, last October.

The idea for the opportunity to attend the eTwinning Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia was borne during an eTwinning PDW event in Bristol in October 2017. The event brought eTwinning Ambassadors from across Europe to the south of England to learn about new innovative ideas to use with eTwinning projects and meet like-minded Ambassadors keen to start partnerships and share experiences. Having met with some of the teachers and leaders from eTwinning Georgia, who I already knew from previous events, the idea to attend the next conference in Tbilisi was discussed and how my Workshop on delivering ICT skills and apps in the classroom would be advantageous at the conference.
